I Cringe at the Sight of a Traditional Baby Bottle PART 1

Well this would be the start of my journey of living chemical free. Before this I lived like most others, thinking I was privledged to have all these products at my finger tips and how far we had come as a society, to make such wonder things.  Little did I realize how virtually everything in one way or another was slowly making me sick or result in a early death.  I always thought the government or FDA, or a group of some sorts, would be monitoring every single ingredient and product for my health and safety.  Was I naive, absolutly!  The truth is no one is looking out for us except for you, this was very disheartening to me.  The fact is that thousands of new chemicals are being made each year and virtually none are being tested before being release in products.. This is scary to me.
Shortly after my first child was born, BPA started to get alot of news recongnition for its affects on adults and babys.  Little did I know the formula I was using was a liquid concentrate from a can that had some of the highest rates of BPA in it, as was rated.  The powdered formula has a lower level of BPA.  There was a chart labeling all the brands of formula with a rating of BPA, and of course I cannot find it, if someone does can you please post it for others to refer to..  On top of that I was using the plastic baby bottles and also the baby bottles with the liners, I quickly changed to Dr. Browns BPA Free Glass Bottles, you can buy them at Toys "R" Us.  I Know you can get plastic BPA free bottles but I just feel more confortable knowing glass is glass, I have no idea whatelse is in the plastic!
